Chelsey DeMoss has known since high school that she wanted to be a photographer. Long before Merlin Photography began, she was already learning, practicing and building the skills to tell people’s stories well.

For Chelsey, photographs are physical proof of our memories. They hold the people we love, the moments we never want to lose and the seasons of life that pass too quickly. What she loves most is creating something families can look back on and say, “This is us.”

Chelsey lives in Auburn, Washington, where she loves the welcoming community, cloudy days and beautiful views. When she’s not behind the camera, you’ll find her playing video games, eating ramen, enjoying board games with family, or watching movies with her fiancé, Seth, her biggest cheerleader
